// The OpenCrust manifesto
Six years of AI gave most people more tabs. This is our attempt to fix that. OpenCrust is a promise-focused business, not a profit-focused one. The shop gets paid. You get pizza. We take the smallest cut that keeps the ovens routing.

01
It was the tollbooth around it. Six years of AI gave you more tabs. Five years of delivery apps gave you menu mazes, fake dashboards, and a fee stack between you and the oven. OpenCrust is built to fix one of those things.
02
No menus. No carts. No marketplace maze. You press once and CrustGPT does the chore. Three taps to the source. No search. No scroll. The whole product is the one button working.
03
Direct when possible. Local pizzerias before delivery giants. More of the dollar stays near the oven where the pizza is actually made, not the marketplace tollbooth in between. When a clean direct route does not exist, we say so out loud.
04
Your card is safe. No hidden fees, no subscriptions, no surprise service-charge stack. The card is used for the pizza that actually lands. You see the hold before money gets captured, and we ask before we spend on every order.
05
No support-bot loop. A human picks up. Zero regrets is not a slogan, it is a department. The joke only works if the pizza actually works.

Built somewhere between a lab and a pizza box.
// Why this exists
Fifteen years in the technology space, watching the same false promises. Bigger fees. More tabs. More dashboards. Less margin for the people actually making the thing. AI was supposed to change everything. Mostly it gave us more software to ignore.
So this is the smallest possible attempt to reset the promise. One person can build a company. One company can change a habit. One button can get pizza from a local shop to your door without a tollbooth in between.
OpenCrust is promise-focused, not profit-focused. Built to put a little power back in the hands of the people who pay for the pizza and the people who make it. You have to start somewhere, and dinner is as good a place as any.
Signed, a tired dad of four.

// Meet the crew
Not decoration. Each character is a job in the pizza pipeline. They show up across the app as the product becomes ready.

Taps the button.

Finds the oven.

Sends the order.

Skips the tollbooth.

Prefers the neighborhood.

Shown the door.

Keeps it honest.

Confirms the landing.
That is the whole product. AI did the chore. You eat. If you want to be the next approved tester before the ovens get busy, the list is open.
